SubscribeI love the cappuccino they have at gas stations, and in the mornings I usually need something to help me get energy, so I tried coffee.. and I dont really care for it too much. (The best thing Ive found is french vanilla coffee but it still isnt very good unless it has a lot of creamer) but anyway- is there a way to make the cappuccino they have at gas stations? This is probably a strange question.. lol.
Id really appreciate any help.

/ March 17, 2010There are tons of boxes of cappuccino mixes at stores… some of which come on individual pouches (like hot chocolate) and some that come in tubs (like small coffee bean containers).
I also found a website that has a recipe for mixes that you can make with many items that you may already have at home:

/ March 17, 2010the "cappuccino" they have at gas stations is probably just from a mix, similar to something like hot chocolate mix. Try the grocery store.

/ March 17, 2010You can buy the cappuccino powders at the grocery store. They are expensive but quick, and of course not as expensive as buying at the gas station. You can get more elaborate, buying a Krups cappuccino maker at Target for about $100, buying the flavored beans that you like and steaming the milk you prefer yourself. That is really the way to go. Don Francisco has an excellent selection in their catalog.

/ March 17, 2010If you have a Starbucks in your area, try a white mocha or a caramel macchiato. They’ll doctor it up however you like it and there are healthier options than just the processed stuff you get in the gas stations. I’ve worked there for three years and those are the faves for the non-coffee drinkers who are exploring!

/ March 17, 2010I worked for a convenience store and yes it is just a powder mix. I am not a coffee drinker but found that if I mix cappuccino with coffee I still get that good energy boost without coffee only flavor.

/ March 17, 2010I like frozen coffee a lot and I am like you I have some coffee with my cream here is what I do.
I make an at home strong brew of coffee let it cool and place it in ice trays in the freezer once frozen I just transfer to a freezer zip bag.
6 coffee cubes
1c milk
1 envelope of carnation instant breakfast i prefer chocolate
blend till milkshake like and a touch of whip cream and I’m out the door caffinated and breakfast on my way to the office.
I am awful at eating breakfast but this works for me..
